The Samaranganasutradhara

Dr Mattia Salvini, Research Assistant on the project, based at SOAS from 2006-2008, has translated chapters of this famous Vastushastra text. He and Adam Hardy are collaborating on a critical, illustrated edtion. Adam Hardy’s article on Dravida Temples in the Samaranganasutradhara, an initial outcome of this collaboration, gives an indication of the approach that they are taking.
